Select Groups to Update Window

This window opens when you select the ... button on the Activate Advisor, Replace Advisor, Deactivate Advisor, and Delete Advisor windows and lists all groups of which the selected Advisor is an active member or an inactive member, depending on the task you choose.

The Group you selected on the Advising Groups tab on the Maintain Advising Groups window is selected by default. You can select additional groups to update by selecting appropriate checkboxes or you can select the Select All checkbox to update all groups listed on the window.

If you are attempting to delete or deactivate an Advisor who is a Primary Advisor for one or more Advising Groups, you must designate a new Primary Advisor for the Advising Groups before deleting or deactivating the current Primary Advisor. The following link may display at the bottom of the window so that you can print a hard copy of all Advising Groups that need to have another Primary Advisor designated before deleting or deactivating the current Primary Advisor.

Buttons

When you select additional groups and click the Select button, the Selected Groups are displayed on the Activate Advisor, Replace Advisor, Deactivate Advisor, and Delete Advisor windows following the ... button.

The Clear button clears all checkboxes that have been selected and also clears the Selected Groups following the ... button on the Activate Advisor, Replace Advisor, Deactivate Advisor, and Delete Advisor windows.
