This tab will provide the ID Numbers and names of all records whose data matches the production database in one or more tables. To review actual data that has been matched, use the Duplicates Report (Rows | Print Duplicates) option.
The following values are valid for the Action column:
I = Import |
This option is not currently available. |
M = Match |
Indicates a manual override that this is a match (changes the value of Y or Blank to M in the Name, Biograph, Address, Candidate, Candidacy, Test Scores, Scores Detail, Ethnic Race Report, Ethnic Report Detail, and Race Report Detail columns) |
N = Not Matched |
Indicates a manual override that this is not a match (removes a temporary ID Number matched with multiple system ID Numbers or allows a temporary ID Number to be imported as a new ID Number in the system database). When you Save, you will be asked to confirm the deletion of these records ("Remove rows indicated as Not Match?"). |
The following values are valid for the Name, Biograph, Address, Candidate, Candidacy, Test Scores, Scores Detail, Ethnic Race Report, Ethnic Report Detail, and Race Report Detail columns:
Y = Found |
Indicates that a match was found between the outside source and the system database (e.g., if the upload criteria are configured to only perform a duplicate search on First and Last name and a Y is populated in the Name column, the first and last name (i.e., Jane Smith) is spelled exactly the same in both databases) |
M = Merge |
Indicates a manual override to update (merge the match) the system database with incoming data for that respective table; note that the columns marked Used in the corresponding IU table are the only ones that will be updated during the upload process |
Blank = Not Found |
Indicates a match was not found with J1 system data or that there is no data for that table in the J1 system or that no columns were selected for use in the duplicate search on the corresponding IU table |
