GPA Tiers Definition Window

This window is available only if your school is licensed for Scholarship GPA.

Use this window to manage GPA tiers. Tiers are career credit-hour milestones, such as 0, 30, 60, and 90 hours. To each tier, you assign a minimum GPA the student must maintain to qualify for the scholarship.

Example Tiers

T4

90.00

T5

In this example, a minimum GPA of 3.0 is required at each tier in order for the student to qualify for the scholarship. However, your school could require a different minimum GPA at some tiers.

GPA tier definitions are used behind the scenes in calculations. For example, on the Scholarship GPA Update window, the definitions are used when you run the update.

For schools with a Georgia College HOPE Eligibility Calculation Service (Georgia HOPE) license, the definitions are used to evaluate a student's eligibility for the Georgia Hope Scholarship.
