External E-Mail Address Window

This window is used to add, remove, or update persons who are not J1 Desktop users. These e-mail addresses are saved to the External E-Mail Address table and not the Address Master table. These addresses are used by J1 Desktop when sending e-mail notifications to persons who are not J1 Desktop users.

This window can also be accessed through the Maintain E-Mail Addresses button on the Notification Group Definition window. If addresses are added, the data on the Notification Group Definition window is refreshed when the External E-Mail Address window is closed.

Addresses defined on this window can be included in a notification group, which is defined on the Notification Group Definition window. External e-mail notifications cannot be sent unless the e-mail address is associated with a notification group.
