Maintain Advisors

All advisors must exist in the Advisor Master table before any functions can be performed, and this window is used to maintain these advisors. When this window is initially opened, the Advisor ID and Advisor Name of all advisors are displayed.

Search By

When you enter search criteria in the Search By group box and press Enter or click the Find Now button, advisors who meet the criteria are retrieved and listed by Advisor ID and Advisor Name. To clear the criteria and enter new criteria, click the New Search button.

The following criteria can be used to filter your search:

Advisor ID

Last Name

First Name

Location

Building

Advisor Type

Advisor Detail

When you select an advisor, editable details are available in the Advisor Detail pane. These detail columns allow you to edit and save data about an advisor. You must save any changes you made to an advisor before selecting another advisor.

The following columns are available for you to enter or edit data for the selected advisor.

Advisor ID/Name

Advisor Type

Faculty

Staff

Resident

Other

Office Location/Building/Room

Office Phone

Course Authorizations

Active
