4.Click
the Add Hold button.
The Add Hold window appears.
5.Choose
the appropriate Hold Code
from the drop-down.
6.If
the hold is associated with a Student Master hold column, select it
from the Student Master Hold Column
drop-down. This means the new hold will be
added to the Student Master table. The Start
Date will use the current date and time and cannot be updated.
7.If
the hold being added is not associated with a Student Master Hold
Column, update the Start Date as
needed and select or enter when the hold ceases to be in effect in
the End Date field.
8.Communication
Management Add Hold Action
and Add Hold Action List show
any defined Notepad
actions/action lists associated with the Hold Code. To apply the
action and/or action list, select the Use
checkbox.
TIP:
Actions/Action Lists are defined for Holds on the Holds
Definition tab of the Hold
Setup window.
9.Click
Save.
a.The
hold is added.
b.The
Add Date uses the current
date and time.
c.The
Added by column uses the name
of person logged in and adding the hold.
