These features of the Financial Aid Manager module allow you to enter student information regarding their financial aid status. The information is located in three main areas:
A student is required to have a row in this table for each POE in order to determine enrollment data information and have it transfer properly into J1. This table is updated by the following tasks: Match Records and Credit hours update/Report. You can also manually update the information in this table by using the Financial Aid Master window. For instructions on how to do this, see Financial Aid Master window.
This table contains a row for each Fund per POE for a student. It stores the amount of aid awarded, the amount earned, and the status of the award. This table is updated when you run Anticipated Aid and Disbursements and Adjustments options. You can view the information using the Student Awards window. For instructions on how to do this, see Student Awards window.
If a student has a work-study employment position, this table contains a row per Fund per POE for each work-study department in which they work. It contains information such as the amount of money the student is eligible to earn, their hourly wage, the number of hours they have worked, the amount they earned so far, and who their supervisor is. This table is updated when you run the Transfer Student Award to Student Employment option. You can also manually update the information using the Student Employment Master window.
