Soundex Code

This column in the Soundex table is a numeric column calculated from the last name and used for searches based on what the name "sounds like." The Soundex table stores Soundex codes by ID Number.

This column is updated each time the LAST_NAME column in the NameMaster table is modified (added or edited).
