Use these options to move groups with less stringent access to the top of the list, and groups with the most stringent access to the bottom of the list. This ensures users who are members of more than one group to view the information based on the mask of the highest priority group (i.e., top of list).

1.         From the Data Type drop-down, select the data you want to mask.

2.         To make the data type active, select the Active checkbox.

3.         Within the main window, right-click. A new row appears.

4.         From the Group ID drop-down, select the user group you are setting up sensitive data security for.

5.         In the Security Value field, enter the type of security mask you want to use to show or hide the information.

Bank Accounts

Because the total numbers making up a bank account numbers can vary, Jenzabar requires 17 digits be entered even if the account number is less than 17. If you have less than 17, enter # or * to account for spaces. # and * are also used for masking which is applied from left to right.

For example, to enter a 10 digit account number with the last four digits masked use *************####. This would turn a 1234567890 account number into *************7890.

6.         Once entered, the Example field shows how the information will appear to the users.

7.         To add security for another group, repeat steps 4 - 6.

8.         Prioritize the security permissions so groups with the least stringent security requirements are at the top of the list, and groups with the most stringent security are at the bottom of the list. This ensures users who are members of more than one group to view the information based on the mask of the highest priority group:

a.    Select the group you want to move to the top or bottom.

b.    Click the Move Up or Move Down button.
