When IPEDS files are created to be uploaded to the NCES (DOE) website, IPEDS requires a particular numeric value to represent the ethnic/race. The default data delivered by Jenzabar for this column are projected values. When NCES releases the IPEDS Import File requirements for the new ethnic and race reporting elements, Jenzabar will either update the default data values or instruct you as to the values required for IPEDS reporting.
